Spring is here!

Spring is here!
I feel so relieved to see a weather forecast with temperatures above freezing and no winter storms! At home, my husband and I are starting to think about Spring Cleaning and decluttering. For me, that means going through my UFO's and "to-do" pile of sewing projects. I did complete a t-shirt quilt that's been in that pile for a couple years, now for the other thousand projects I never finished...
As we come out of the winter doldrums, it's time to dust off that sewing machine and get cracking! For some, it may mean bringing your machine in for it's annual check-up; for others, it might be time to turn it in and get a machine that'll make completing your projects faster and easier. We've got specials on new sewing machines and sergers, as well as pre-owned machines and floor models available.
If you own a sewing machine, you cannot miss our BERNINA Academy workshop coming up in May. Whether you're a seasoned pro or you haven't touched your machine in ages, everyone will walk away with tips and techniques to improve their sewing skills. Get inspired, learn, and sew more! Bring a sewing friend to work with during the course, or come on your own and meet new sew-mates! You'll create a Technique Book to use as a reference guide for each time you turn your machine on to start a project. Click HERE is sign up

Bernina Academy Seminar "Fear no Fabric"

The countdown is on for our BERNINA Academy class in May, it's about 5.5 weeks out!

The topic of the seminar is 'fear no fabric' so the workshop is on working with tricky fabrics and how to get the best results using different settings, feet, and stitches. We'll be working hands on with: burlap, cotton, leather, cork, denim, vinyl, oilcloth, terrycloth, minky, fur, lace, woo, velvet, knit, knit ribbing, fleece, spandex, gauze, chiffon, and silk.

These are techniques used by beginners and experts alike, so everyone can learn something. No sewing skills are required.

All machines and materials will be provided, as well as food, so customers don't need to own a machine, bring a machine, or have even operated a machine. Sign up today!
